The Protected Disclosure Act and ESV
The Protected Disclosure Act 2012 facilitates the making of disclosures of improper conduct and detrimental action by public officers and public bodies. People who make such disclosures are commonly referred to as whistleblowers.
Disclosures about Energy Safe Victoria or ESV employees and officers are handled separately to persons complaining about and to ESV.
To find out how to make a complaint about or to Energy Safe Victoria, go to our Report a safety concern or make a complaint.
Disclosures of improper conduct by ESV must be made to the Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission.
